Two Mums, Four Children, One Common Battle: Eczema

Both our firstborns developed eczema in their first year, leading us on a journey to share tips and resources on caring for babies with eczema. Despite multiple visits to pediatricians and skin specialists, their eczema would often take a sudden turn for the worse.

Through extensive research, we realised that their clothes were a significant issue. Synthetic materials like polyester and nylon caused overheating, sweating, and irritation, leading to scratching and worsening eczema. Even a small percentage of synthetic fabric could trigger these reactions. The harsh fabrics, poorly sewn seams, and itchy clothing tags were the root cause of their sensitive and eczema-prone skin problems.

The Discovery of Bamboo Fabric

We found bamboo clothing, known for its luxuriously soft and cooling properties, ideal for Singapore’s hot and humid weather. Making the switch to bamboo clothing was a no-brainer.
