PS: If you're having some trouble with getting your child to eat his/her greens, try pretend play. Our firstborn absolutely loved broccoli since young, but one day, around 3 years old, all of a sudden, he declared that broccoli was yucky. At around the same time, he was into all things exotic, so we asked if he would like some bones from the baby tree! And, you could see his eyes gleam with delight! We managed to get him to continue eating broccoli. He knew what it was! But with some imagination, it was now an exciting dish instead of plain ol' brocc. You're welcome!
He is 4 now and still occasionally asks if he can have some baby tree bones when we cook broccoli for dinner!
